E.R. Calthrop

This is a detailed scale model of the 2-6-4T locomotive built by Kitson's in 1904 for the Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway in North Staffordshire.

The locomotive features twin channel radio control for speed and direction.

The boiler is internally gas fired, fitted with water filling system as standard. The lubricator is of the displacement type and has an underfloor blow-down valve. It is possible to refill the boiler and the lubricator whilst the engine is in steam.

The radio control is 40MHz and both transmitter and locomotive have rechargeable batteries. A battery charger is supplied as standard.

The locomotive body is of etched brass construction and features many brass castings. The cab roof lifts to allow easy access to the water and lubrîcator fillers.

The loco is supplied in all black livery circa 1980s or LMS "crimson lake" livery of the 1920s.

This model is of showcase standard but is designed for frequent running for your pleasure.
