
"Colorado" is a freestyle 2-6-0 Mogul type engine designed to capture the 1920s era of American railroading.
The engine features full weather-proof internal gas firing. Radio control for both speed and direction is fitted as standard.
The engîne la packed with user-friendly features. The cab roof lifts up to give excellent access to all the service items in the cab such as boiler, gas, and lubrication fillers. The boiler has a special valve to check when it is full to the correct level, any excess water being piped away beneath the frame. The gas is easily regulated through the cab window. The lubricator has an underfloor drain so that the condensed water can easily be blown out at the end of the run.

The radio receiver and batteries are fltted in the tender. The real coal load lifts up to reach the batteries. The receiver aerial is in a wooden tool box on the rear of the tender for good radio signal reception.
The loco can be supplied with a fitted water gauge as an optional extra.
