Models purchased from PPS Steam Models and DJ Engineering have sharp edges, high temperatures (live steam), and moving parts. They are not toys for children, but are intended to be sold only to responsible adults. Buyer assumes all risks for any injury to person or persons, or damage to equipment or property in any way whatsoever from the products we sell to you.

All new steam engines, boilers and accessories are sold with the manufacturer's guarantee (if any).
All second–hand engines, boilers and accessories are sold sight as seen and no guarantee of any kind whatsoever is given.

These are charged on all despatches unless otherwise agreed. Please make allowances for these costs when ordering. The cost of carriage and packing and insurance is calculated from the total weight and value of the packed consignment, and until packed we cannot precisely calculate this cost in advance.
Insurance charges depend on the value of the items sent.
Any items sent uninsured at customer's request will be sent at the customer's responsibility in case of loss or damage.
Items sent by Royal Mail post are sent at your risk only. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind whatsoever unless you request insurance at the time of ordering.
