MSS marine engines

These engines are suitable for boats approximately 2'6" long with a 7" beam. Two versions are available; one for propeller powerd boats, the other suitable for driving paddle wheels.

Technical specifications

• Twin double acting cylinder bore dia and stroke.
• Forward and reverse control.
• Base fitted: length x width x height .
• Steam feed and exhaust 1.125" diameter, bore 0.080"
• Can operate from most boiler types. A boiler suitable for these engines can be supplied. Suggested maximum operation pressure: 1.0 bar (about 15psi).
• Easily adapted for use with radio control.
