Afrikarn is a freelance 2-6-0+0-6-2 model based on the Garratt NG11.

• 4 slide valve cylinders with Walschaerts valve gear.
• 2" x 9" internally gas fired, super-heated boiler.
• Pressure gauge fitted as standard (safety valve set to 60psi).
• Approximate dimensions: length 710mm, width 110mm, height 160mm.
• Three-function radio control, operating forward/reverse, regulator and steam whistle.
• Supplied with rechargable batteries and charger for transmitter and receiver.
• Boiler duration: approximately 20 minutes on standard fill. Continuous running possible using filler valve supplied.
• Various colours available.
• Gauge: adjustable.
• Minimum radius curve: approximately 2'6" (75cm).
