"Caledonia" with her unique (for the Isle of Man) 0-6-0 wheel arrangement, was built by Dübs and Company of Glasgow and arrived on the island in 1885. She was designed to tackle the steep gradients of the Foxdale Railway.
"Caledonia" is still in regular servive on the Isle of Man Railway.
